Last week in the Jungle Room we did finger painting for an activity. The children really enjoyed exploring the ooey gooey texture of the paint. Paint colours were mixed with their fingers creating new colours of paint. This was very exciting for the children. Pretty soon the paint was up to their elbows!

The next morning we decided to do painting again. Only this time the children used their feet! The children were quite intrigued by this idea and eagerly awaited their turn. The children stepped one foot into a paint colour. Next they put their other foot into a different colour. When they stepped onto the paper they began moving their feet side to side, like windshield wipers, mixing it into a new colour of paint!

The children were delighted to see the new colours they made and thoroughly enjoyed getting their feet all mucky!
