KIDS Inc has just gone through an organizing process over the last month to gain control of our “clutter”. As we don’t have a shut down period, we spent two weekend mornings clearing out the corners, cupboards, storage room and shed and organizing all of our play materials and putting them into order so we can rotate the toys in a manner that uses well designed systems to make the transitions simple. This will also make it easier to find items we need quickly when the interests of the children change and we need to make the learning environment responsive to the changes.

While we are grateful for the many items that families have donated to us over the years, we are requesting that the donations be targeted only to things we have specifically requested. This will assist us in controlling the amount of items we can safely and efficiently store. We have attached a resource list here of locations/organizations and what items they need. We encourage families to make their donations of toys to the worthy charities listed. We will continue to post requests for specific items we are looking for on the preschool door or in the newsletter.
