Jungle Room Happenings

The Jungle Room children have been observed playing with large items such as airplanes, trucks and dinosaurs. Upon closer observations, we gathered the root of the children’s play was “control” and they were getting this need met by using large, powerful vehicles and dinosaurs. We have addressed this interest with many different activities especially centred around dinosaurs. We looked at pictures of dinosaur tracks and fossils, and then made our own tracks in play dough. Lots of fun!
